Calling all pirates, sailors, wenches & admirals! RiverLink's French Broad River Yacht Club invites you to Walk the Plank on Saturday November 1st at 6pm at Salon Blue Ridge Architectural Components in Flat Rock. This event features local savory food from renowned caterer Cuisine Team of Hendersonville, delicious desserts from Purple Onion of Saluda, French Broad Brewery beer, Biltmore Wine and grog made from Henderson County apples. This event also showcases exquisite art from local artists including Costanza Knight's monotypes that capture beautiful scenes in Henderson County that will soon change due to increasing urbanization, David Vandre's famous waterfall and nature photography, potters Joady Perret and M Rathsack and Cynthia Wilson's nature inspired paintings. Take this opportunity to meet these fantastic artists where a portion of their art sales will go to benefit RiverLink's mission to revitalize the French Broad River as a place to live, work and play. Yacht Club June 2008 party"We've all become increasingly aware of the importance and limitations of water resources in this area.
