Come one, come all to the 4th Annual White Squirrel Festival Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25, in downtown Brevard, North Carolina. This year's celebration promises to be nuttier than ever before!
Live music is scheduled for both days of the festival. Artists scheduled to perform include Edwin McCain, The Jeff Sipes Trio, and The Patrick Smith Band just to name a few! The festival will of course feature Walking Tours to see real White Squirrels, the White Squirrrel Children's Village, and, new this year, The First Annual 5k/10K White Squirrel Race sponsored by The Rotary Club of Brevard. There will also be a White Squirrel Photo Contest and great downtown shopping. Food and crafts vendors will be on hand throughout downtown. Sign up for the 2nd Annual White Squirrel downhill gravity racing derby, a White Squirrel Tennis Tournament, and lots of other exciting events! If tennis is not your thing, there are several other contests for festival-goers to enter. The weekend will include a "Chalk it up" Kid's Street Art competition, a Squirrel Feeder Design Contest, and the White Squirrel Photo Contest.
