Holiday Lights Return to Lake Julian Through December 20

Buncombe County Parks & Recreation is hosting the Holiday Light Show at Lake Julian again this year. You can enjoy the beautiful light displays while sipping on warm apple cider at the "Lake Julian Festival of Lights" any night of the week through December 20 at Lake Julian Park in Skyland. The event will take place each night from 6 to 9 pm.

Too wet? Too cold? No problem! View the lights from the warmth of your car while you drive through the park and see spectacular figurines full of bright colors. The park is brightly lit with thousands of colored lights and over 50 animated and stationary light displays. The road circling the park becomes a magical journey through tunnels of dazzling lights.

Don't miss this year's new displays in this event for all ages!

The cost is only $5 per car, $10 per van or $20 per bus. A portion of the proceeds goes to Special Olympics Buncombe County.

Make this a holiday tradition for the whole family by visiting the park during Buncombe County Parks & Recreation's annual Festival of Lights! For more information, call Buncombe County Parks & Recreation Services at (828) 684-0376 .
