After four months of providing vital support to our community during which Haywood County officials answered hundreds of calls and assisted many individuals, we have reached a point where the volume of calls at The Haywood County Emergency Helene Call Center has significantly decreased to just one or two, and sometimes none, per day.
Haywood County is grateful to have been able to provide this resource and support throughout the recovery process.
The call center, 828-356-2020, will officially close on Friday, February 7, at 5 PM.
