Asheville Junior Theater (AJT) is thrilled to announce its 2025 lineup of summer camps, offering young performers the opportunity to explore acting, singing, and dancing in a fun and supportive environment.
From Broadway favorites like Wicked and Newsies to exciting new themes like Dog Man: The Musical and Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, there’s a camp for every aspiring star.
“Our summer camps are designed to help kids build confidence, develop their performance skills, and make lasting friendships,” says AJT Musical Director Melena Dillingham. “Whether they’re stepping onto the stage for the first time or honing their talents for future productions, these camps provide an unforgettable experience.”
2025 Summer Camp Lineup
- WICKED (Two-Week Intensive) | June 16-20 & June 23-27 | Ages 8-18
- Moana 2 & Moana 2 Minis | July 7-11 | Ages 4-18
- Newsies | July 14-18 | Ages 8-18
- WICKED (One-Week Camp) | July 21-25 | Ages 8-18
- Dog Man: The Musical | July 28-August 1 | Ages 8-18
- Taylor Swift Eras Tour & Eras Tour Minis | August 4-8 | Ages 4-18
- Ultimate Dance Camp | August 11-15 | Ages 8-18
Each camp will culminate in a showcase performance, allowing students to share what they’ve learned with family and friends.
Registration & Details
- Location: South Asheville
- Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Mini Camps: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Cost: $185 – $700 (Varies by camp)
- Registration: Full payment is due at sign-up and includes a non-refundable $100 deposit. Camps require a minimum of 10 participants.
Spots are limited, and camps fill quickly! Parents are encouraged to register their children early to secure a place.
