Gifts to Pisgah Legal Will Be Matched on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3rd

After everything that the people of WNC have been through this year, the staff and volunteers at nonprofit Pisgah Legal Services are looking forward to Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to celebrating the power of people and organizations to transform their communities. A special Giving Challenge has been issued to raise $27,500 on this global day of philanthropy.

About the Match

Thanks to Aeroflow Healthcare, Prince, Massagee & Alexander, PLLC, Jim Barrett, Sandra Byrd & Family, and an anonymous donor, the first $27,500 in donations to Pisgah Legal on Giving Tuesday will matched dollar-for-dollar!

In addition, all gifts by first-time donors – or from donors increasing their donation from last year – will ALSO be matched thanks to a grant received by NC IOLTA.

Pisgah Legal Chief Development Officer Ally Wilson says, “We’ve witnessed the resilience and generosity of our community since Hurricane Helene, and this Giving Tuesday Giving Challenge offers another chance to support local recovery efforts.”

She adds, “Your gift to Pisgah Legal will be matched on Giving Tuesday, and thanks to supporters who purchased and donated gift certificates from local businesses, you could also win one of these wonderful prizes.”

How It Works

Donations can be made online at pisgahlegal.org/givingtuesday or in-person at the Asheville main office located at 62 Charlotte Street. Call Ally Wilson at (828) 210-3444 for other giving options.

Throughout the day, those who give will be entered to win gift certificates donated by Pisgah Legal supporters who want to also help local businesses impacted by Hurricane Helene. There will be three drawings throughout the day, and you may enter without donating. Businesses include: Sabai, Sabai; East Fork Pottery; Penny Cup Coffee Co.; Provisions Mercantile; Tall John’s’; Little D’s; Hulie Sue’s; Wasabi, Navitat Zip Line and Cisco Pilates.
