Mashville Challenge is a perfect collision of roller derby and local brews! This one-day event takes place from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 8 at the US Cellular Center.
During the day fans will imbibe five limited-release drinks, specially brewed and named by five breweries: One World Brewing, Hi-Wire Brewing, Urban Orchard Cider, Hillman Beer and Bhramari Brewing. Participating fans can purchase a $25 brewery punch card (the punch card covers the five competing breweries’ 12oz pours) and will have until 6:15 pm to vote for their favorite drink. The winning drink will be announced around 6:30 pm!
In addition to the beer, four roller derby games will by played on the same floor from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Appalachian Roller Derby (Boone, NC) will play Pikes Peak Derby Dames (Colorado Springs, CO) at 12:00 pm; Blue Ridge French Broads (AVL, NC) will face off against Smoky Mountain Rollergirls (Bryson City, NC) at 2:00 pm; MAD Divas (AVL, NC) will match up against Smoky Mountain Lil’ Nemesisters at 4:15 pm; and Blue Ridge All Starts (AVL, NC) will go against Pikes Peak Derby Dames (Colorado Springs, CO) at 6:15 pm.
