The Van Winkle Law Firm has announced that attorney Martin Moore has joined the firm as an associate in its litigation practice group. Moore will work with the firm’s litigation team representing clients in both personal and business disputes.
Before joining the firm, Moore worked in Asheville in criminal defense and juvenile advocacy where he gained significant trial experience. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 and went on to earn his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2013. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Buncombe County Bar, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. Moore is Chair of the Buncombe County Board of Adjustment, Vice Chair of OpenDoors of Asheville and a volunteer judge for the Buncombe County Teen Court. In addition, he serves as President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Buncombe County Bar.
