Sky Zone Asheville will sell limited edition Pink Sky Socks throughout the month of October to raise awareness of breast cancer.
The park will donate $1 for each pair of socks purchased to The Hope Chest for Women to help provide gas cards, groceries, pay utility bills and buy medicine for women struggling with cancer in our region. The 8000-pair sock order has a wide variety of sizes for all ages, ranging from toddler to adult, and guests don’t need to purchase a jump ticket to buy a pair. With sticky soles, the socks can be used as house shoes or during doctors’ visits—they make great gifts to brighten someone’s day or offer a little joy to friends or loved ones in need of comfort. Limited Edition Pink Sky Socks are $4, while supplies last.
In addition, there will be several supporting events during the month of October:
Pink Firetruck On-Site at Sky Zone Asheville. To draw more attention to their fundraising efforts, Sky Zone Asheville will host a giant pink firetruck in their Gerber Village parking lot on Sunday, October 14, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Enka-Candler Fire & Rescue is raising awareness for breast cancer during the month of October as well by wrapping one of their firetrucks in pink and parking it at community events and local businesses, while still fighting fires! Visitors to the trampoline park that day will get an up-close look at the truck and can talk to community heroes from the Enka-Candler Fire & Rescue Department.
#IDriveFor Event at Asheville Chevrolet. Sky Zone Asheville is also proud to participate in The Hope Chest for Women’s annual #IDriveFor event taking place at Asheville Chevrolet on October 18 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at 205 Smokey Park Highway. The special event will feature live music by Jesse Barre and Kelly Jones, Logan Marie Ledford, and the Owen High School Female Acapella Group Fourmata. The festivities will include food and drinks, a dunking booth and a silent auction to which Sky Zone Asheville has donated a Super Jump Party Pass for 12 valued at $339. Guests can stop by the Sky Zone Asheville tent for a chance to win free jump passes and learn about the park’s special programming for toddlers, teens, groups and parties.
“In conjunction with Enka-Candler Fire & Rescue and Asheville Chevrolet, the team at Sky Zone Asheville wanted to make a local contribution that would have a direct impact on the lives of women and their families in Western North Carolina. The Limited Edition Pink Socks are a fun way to raise awareness and give back to an organization that does such wonderful work in our state” said Charles Conner, franchise partner at Sky Zone Asheville. “With so many families coming to our park each day, we know our amazing community will come together to raise awareness and bring support to our moms, daughters, sisters and friends in need.”
