Ron Isaacs masterfully replicates articles of clothing and a variety of natural subjects in his painted birch plywood constructions. The artist comments that his trompe l’oeil works are halfway between painting and sculpture. A fantastic collection of Isaacs’ recent work continues through the end of May in one of five inaugural solo exhibitions at 52 Broadway.
