It’s time to celebrate as a community! The River Arts District Transportation Improvement Project (RADTIP) is nearly complete. Grand Opening celebrations, including the official dedication of the first section of the Wilma Dykeman Greenway, will occur over a month long period from Earth Day to just after Wilma Dykeman‘s Birthday- April 22 to May 22, 2021.

In partnership with the City of Asheville and RADTIP, iDaph events is excited to create and produce a celebratory, family-friendly, run/walk event in the River Arts District (RAD). This fun event is part of many celebrations that are happening for a month during the historic grand opening of the Wilma Dykeman Greenway with our amazing Asheville community.

The RAD RELAY is set for Wednesday, May 19th with rolling wave starts from 5-6:30pm. All abilities, EVERYONE is welcome! Individuals and/or 2 Person Relay teams can walk or run a simple, flat and fast, out-and-back, 5k course on this new beautiful greenway in our city.

The RAD RELAY is proud to support the efforts of Asheville Greenworks. Online donations will be accepted for Asheville Greenworks and $2 per paid registration will be donated to the organization to support their efforts and programs in our community.
