Western North Carolina Racing Pigeon Club meets monthly and has two pigeon racing seasons each year.

Peak Swimming is a totally non-profit team with a non-paid parent run board. Each swim family pays a fee for each swim session for their swimmer or swimmers. The team also allocates scholarships to swimmers according to a percentage of income the team has per session. We are not only a competitive swim team. We offer a swim school, masters swimming, conditioning through swimming or just stroke perfection.
Western North Carolina Disc Golf Club meets at 7pm on the last Monday of each month.

The Western North Carolina Nature Center is the first place where area children meet the animals they have read about. Deers, bears, cougars, wolf, racoons, birds and even farm animals are there for all to learn about. Exhibits on area poisonous snakes are worth absorbing. An aviary, self-guided nature trail and petting zoo make this a great place for the family. Small admission fee.
We are an active club with monthly meetings, drives on our beautiful mountain roads, parties and picnics, car shows and plenty of opportunities to drive your British car with others who love to get out with like minded people!
Iron Order Motorcycle Club in Asheville is a law abiding motorcycle club which donates and participates in charity events in the Asheville area. They also do rides and welcome anyone of any background to ride with us with any style motorcycle.

Asphalt Sisters: Blue Ridge Chapter are an Asheville, NC area all female motorcycle group. Their group includes all types/makes of motorcycle and skill levels. They are a no drama “no fuss-no muss” riding group. They welcome ALL FEMALE RIDERS from all walks of life, and all stages of life. Their goal is to bring together women who enjoy riding and want camaraderie on the road. They want everyone to feel welcome and part of the group. Aston Park Tennis Center
Aston Park Tennis Center is one of the finest public clay court facilities in the United States. There are 12 lighted clay courts designed and constructed of the Har Tru Fast Dry clay court material. The center is open to the public.

We are a nonprofit offering capoeira classes and performances to the Asheville community. A free introductory class is held for those interested in this traditional Afro-Brazilian martial art every 1st and 3rd sat. Come by to train or just to watch! Performances and workshops available.

For years, the 18,000 square foot YMI building was the social and economic center of Asheville’s Black community. Currently YMI is a cultural center operating with support from the City of Asheville.
