Commissioner Troxler to kick off Got to Be NC Festival with antique tractor parade Friday at 2 p.m.

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler will lead a parade of antique tractors around the State Fairgrounds to officially open the Got to Be NC Festival.

More than 100 tractors are expected to participate in the parade, and Troxler will be driving a restored one from his personal collection. He will be available for one-on-one interviews following the parade near the Martin Building.

Hundreds of antique tractors will be on display throughout the festival. Add in harvesters, balers and other implements, and there will be more than 1,000 pieces of antique farm equipment on display this weekend.
