Hurricane Helene Relief Effort: Nonprofits in Buncombe County Accepting Financial Donations

Hands with hearts to help raise awareness for important community issues.

The outpouring of concern for Buncombe County and the entire region of Western North Carolina is overwhelming and the county cannot express how grateful it is for everyone wanting to lend a hand or donate to relief efforts.

There are multiple ways to help the ongoing efforts to provide relief to our community members who have been most affected by the devastation of Hurricane Helene. Many people have reached out to Buncombe County and would like to provide financial-based assistance.

They have heard from two of trusted local nonprofits that have the administrative capabilities to receive and distribute funding in a way that is most beneficial to our community. The money collected through these organizations will be used to help provide immediate necessities while helping the overall long-term effort to continue to provide the numerous essentials associated with ongoing relief efforts.
