Inaugural Golf Tournament Raises More Than $15,000 for Eblen Charities Water Assistance Program

On August 15 at Asheville’s Municipal Golf Course, 16 teams gathered for the inaugural Eblen Charities-Ingles Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Eblen’s Water Assistance Program.

This program provides financial assistance to community members who are having difficulty paying their water bills. Stated Beth Russo, Executive Director of Eblen Charities, “The funds raised will make a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals and families in our community.”

“Ingles has considered Eblen Charities to be one of our most important community partners for nearly 20 years. Every opportunity we get to participate in events with them is an honor. We know that our local community will benefit,” says Pat Jackson, Ingles CFO. “Ingles and Eblen Charities both understand the importance of focusing on our local families and working together to lift entire communities.”
