Nerd Nite, aka the global phenomenon affectionately known as “The Discovery Channel, but with beer”, is bringing a bold evening of fun facts to start off the new year on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Nerd Nite is an international community of proud and passionate nerds, spanning over 100 cities that meet monthly over convivial libations to exercise their abundant brain muscles. Nerd Nite Asheville is in its fifth month, and will be closing out 2023 with a bang.
January’s lineup features:
- Life on the Ocean’s Surface
- The Archer’s Paradox
- Fabricating Telescope Mirrors for JPL from Glue
Nerd Nite Asheville is curated and presented by local entertainer and lifelong nerd Von Magni, in partnership with The River Arts District Brewing Company.
“Start the new year right with Nerd Nite!” says Von. “Make your New Year’s resolution to fill your brain with fun facts that your friends will definitely not get sick of hearing.”
Nerd Nite begins at 7:00 pm on January 11 with a $10 cover. Early arrival is strongly recommended. Be there and be square!
