The Chai Pani Restaurant Group is celebrating the South, and you’re invited as chef Meherwan Irani and Buxton Hall Barbecue’s pitmaster Elliott Moss and pastry chef Ashley Capps are teaming up with culinary icon, author and Southern Foodways Alliance director John T. Edge in light of his recent book, “The Potlikker Papers: a Food History of the Modern South,” in the form of a six-course feast that will take guests on a journey through the South’s culinary landscape. The conversation will begin in Buxton Hall’s Remingtin Room on Sunday, February 18 at 6 p.m., and end with a book signing from John T. Tickets are $75 per person and include one copy of “The Potlikker Papers.”
