Patrick Davis is a South Carolina-raised singer, songwriter, and storyteller Davis, who grew up in the small town of Camden, SC, learned the finer points of rock and roll, folk, and soul from his father. At the age of 16, he joined his dad on stage for his first ever performance.
After graduating from The University of South Carolina, Davis moved to Nashville and released four well-received full-length albums, toured the US and Europe as both a headliner and support act for Darius Rucker and Jewel, and was employed as a staff writer for Warner Chappell Music Publishing. He has had over 50 songs recorded by other artists including Jimmy Buffet, Lady Antebellum, Imelda May, Rucker, Jewel, Robert Randolph, and Guy Clark.
Davis returns to the Peace Center this week with His Midnight Choir, an 11-piece band featuring horns and background singers.
