Buncombe County Parks & Recreation Services sponsors the first Summer Solstice Community Gathering on Saturday, June 23rd at Hominy Creek River Park from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The one-day event is free to the public.
Join in guided nature walks and learn about common medicinal plants, seed planting, organic growers' tailgate market, yoga, tai-chi, dance, massage and much, much more. Bring your favorite soup makings, a bowl, a spoon and add to the community pot of Stone Soup.
