This is your company’s opportunity to help sick and injured children at Mission Children’s Hospital by collecting Horse Cents, coins for kids. Pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters turn into dollars that provide urgently needed healthcare to children. In return for collecting Horse Cents, the Clydesdales want to say thanks by inviting two people from the top six Horse Cents fundraising companies to join them in the Asheville Holiday Parade on November 21. Every company that participates in Horse Cents will also be invited to meet one of the Clydesdales for holiday pictures and carriage rides at Mission Children’s Hospital on Sunday, November 22. Hearing stories from neighbors and friends with sick children helps us all understand how important Mission Children’s Hospital is to families in Western North Carolina. At Express Employment Professionals, we know that if you care for kids as much as we do, you will exercise a little horse sense and raise Horse Cents with us. To get started, register your company as a Horse Cents participant; pick a team leader to serve as the Horse Cents contact and download materials in our Horse Cents Kit. The kit contains promotional flyers, an e-mail blast that you can send to employees and a tip sheet for fun and easy ways to make Horse Cents. Horse Cents can be collected and turned in now through November 12. The six companies that raise the most Horse Cents will be notified on November 13. Each company will be asked to pick one employee who can bring one child or other guest with them to ride on the Express Clydesdales Wagon in the Asheville Holiday Parade.
