Asheville Habitat Thanks Home Store Customers With Sale August 30


Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity will thank its Home Store customers for their support with a Customer Appreciation Sale from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30. All Home Store merchandise, including furniture, housewares, appliances, building materials and antiques will be 25 percent off. Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be served from noon to 2:00.

Home Store proceeds cover all of Habitat’s administrative and fundraising costs.

The Habitat Home Store is located at 30 Meadow Road just west of Biltmore Avenue and north of the railroad tracks.

In the past 25 years, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity has welcomed more than 170 Buncombe County families to safe, decent and affordable houses. The Home Store plays an important role in the organization’s house building program, as virtually all of the Asheville affiliate’s administrative costs are covered by Home Store proceeds.
