Antler Hill Village, Biltmores newest guest venue, is now officially open! Also new to Biltmore is the rare 1913 Stevens-Duryea Model C-Six seven-passenger touring car that once belonged to George and Edith Vanderbilt that will be on permanent display in the Winery. This particular Stevens-Duryea model is believed to be one of only 10 existing in the world today. As a special treat for Antler Hill Villages Opening, the Biltmore House staff will introduce new guest experiences that reveal more about the lives of people who lived, worked and visited the house during George Vanderbilts day. Now, the self-guided house tour infuses more stories about the Vanderbilts. Plus: - Displays of vintage clothing on the First and Second Floors, and the Basement, with storytelling elements and period props will portray what it was like to live in or visit Americas largest home. - More access into the Bowling Alley, and a view of Mr. Vanderbilts concealed walk-in closet fully furnished. - A new guided specialty tour the Family & Friends Tour. The tour focuses on Biltmores legendary hospitality and stories of family and friends who came to stay here. Most of the rooms on this tour will feature authentic antique clothing that will be identified with a friend or family member who visited the Vanderbilts at Biltmore.
