Join us in the cool Blue Ridge Mountains for the 5th annual Spruce Pine BBQ Championship & Bluegrass Festival in Spruce Pine on July 15th and 16th.
All festival activities including entertainment, the BBQ competition, food vendors, and crafts vendors will be located at the Riverside Park across the river from downtown Spruce Pine this year. Tickets may be bought at the festival or in advance online. Full-Access Entertainment Passes with Premier Seating will be available again this year!
The event features a sanctioned professional BBQ competition, live bluegrass, award winning mouth watering BBQ from multiple vendors, the chance to sample true competition BBQ during the Tasters’ Choice event, a jamming stage, championship clogging teams, artists & crafts vendors, a Cornhole Tournament, a car and antique tractor show, local food vendors, kids activities, and much, much more!
This is a ticketed event. General admission is $16 for a two day pass or $8 for Friday entry and $10 for Saturday entry.
The best parking will be in downtown Spruce Pine and in the Pinebridge Lots. Walk across the footbridge from E Locust St. or park and ride the free shuttle, which is provided by the Mitchell County Public Transportation Authority. Handicap parking will be on Summit Ave across the street from the First Baptist Baptist Church.
