WNC Nature Center Groundhog Day Prediction

The Western North Carolina Nature Center’s groundhog, Nibbles, will make her predictions about the remaining weeks of winter in Western North Carolina on Groundhog Day, Monday, February 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the WNC Nature Center.

This year’s official celebrity Groundhog Whisperer is Dale Stewart, world-renown naturalist, explorer, adventurist, and conservationist. He is also a published author and speaker and host of the nationally syndicated radio show “Nature’s Edge with Dale Stewart”. The afternoon will also feature special presentations, stories, and songs celebrating Groundhog Day.

All activities are included with paid admission to the WNC Nature Center. Admission is $6 for adults ($8 for non-Asheville residents), $5 for seniors ($7 for non-Asheville residents), $4 for youth ages 3-15 and children age 2 and under are free.
