Aquila Theatre brings to life Emily Brontë’s classic story of all-consuming passion with its new production of Wuthering Heights, which recounts the tale of ill-fated lovers on the lonely moors of northern England. Wuthering Heights is a sweeping tale of passion, revenge, family, class, and the supernatural. Over a century and a half later, Brontë’s magnum opus remains incredibly moving.

Diana Wortham Theatre also presents Aquila Theatre Company in
William Shakespeare’s The Tempest on January 31st at 8:00 pm.

The Tempest, believed to be Shakespeare’s final play, is imbued with magic, the supernatural, and a heightened sense of theatricality and in the experienced, nuanced hands of the Aquila Theatre actors, The Tempest swirls first in the heart of Prospero before it is unleashed, putting relationships and love to the test in a powerful tale of forgiveness and enlightenment.
