Every child deserves a wish come true. The holidays are full of uncertainty and questions for foster children.
Questions like: “Will Santa find my new house?” or, “Will anyone remember me this Christmas?”
The Wish List is a Buncombe County program making sure foster children in our care get a present this holiday season.
There are three easy ways to sponsor a foster child’s wish list:
1. Visit buncombecounty.org/wishlist and select the child’s wish list that you would like to sponsor and enter your contact information. You are welcome to select more than one wish list;
or
2. Visit 35 Woodfin Street or 200 College Street and choose a child’s card from the tree in the lobby; follow the directions on the back of the card to find the child’s wish list.
3. Don’t have time to shop? You can make a tax deductible Wish List donation through our nonprofit partner, Buncombe County Service Foundation. Click here to donate now.

Wrapped and labeled gifts must be returned to Ground Level A, 35 Woodfin Street no later than December 15.
