Reza Aslan will present his newest book, Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth, at Malaprop’s Bookstore/Cafe on September 14th at 3:00 pm.
Aslan will perform a reading and be available for book signings during the event.
Reza Aslan’s first book on religion, No god but God: The Origins, Evolution, and Future of Islam, is an international bestseller. Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth, Aslan’s newest book, is a New York Times bestseller and was called “[a] lucid, intelligent page-turner” by the Los Angeles Times.
Aslan serves on the boards of several organizations devoted to cultural understanding and creativity and is Associate Professor of Creative Writing and Cooperating Faculty in the Department of Religion at the University of California, Riverside.
