Dust off your lederhosen, dirndls and chicken-dancing shoes, Oktoberfest is back Saturday, October 11 from 1-6pm on Coxe Avenue.
Returning breweries include: Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Asheville Brewing Company, Catawba Valley Brewing Company, French Broad Brewery, Green Man Brewery, Highland Brewing Company, Hi-Wire Brewing, Lexington Avenue Brewery (LAB), Noble Cider, Oskar Blues Brewery, Pisgah Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Twin Leaf Brewery. We’ll also have traditional German lagers from Spatan-Franziskaner and wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle.
We’ll also have “oompah music” from the Stratton Mountain Boys, German fare from local vendors, games, and of course, the infamous Brewery Battle. Who will take home the DAS BOOT trophy this year?
Tickets are on sale ashevilledowntown.org. During August tickets are $30, during September $35 and in October $40. This event will sell out.
