Groovin’ On Grovemont

Tuesdays in July, join us for the 11th annual Groovin’ on Grovemont summer concert series in Grovemont Square adjacent to the Swannanoa Library. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and come enjoy these family-friendly evenings of great music!

The concert series is free and open to the public. Concessions including hot dogs, pizza, and home-baked goods are available for purchase; proceeds benefit the Friends of the Swannanoa Library and the Swannanoa Emergency Assistance Program, a program of Swannanoa Community Council that assists Swannanoa residents with emergency utility and medical needs.

Admission to Groovin’ on Grovemont is free, but donations are always welcome and encouraged. To inquire, please email [email protected] or call 250-6486.

Tuesday, July 1 at 6 pm
The Bread and Butter Band – Strong bluegrass roots, influenced by folk and the blues. Also from 5 – 6 pm on July 1: Rocking Rockets! Asheville Makers will be on site just before Groovin’ on Grovemont to provide a fun hands-on workshop to make and launch paper rockets. For kids of all ages

Lyric -Playing Pop/Funk/Soul covers and catchy originals.

The ‘Groovemont’ Players – Rock, Soul, Blues, Country and Beyond!
