Buncombe County Government and MAHEC are offering a free training on Danger Assessment (DA). DA is an instrument which helps to determine the level of danger an abused woman has of being killed by her intimate partner.
The tool was developed by Jacquelyn Campbell with consultation and content validity support from battered women, shelter workers, law enforcement officials and other clinical experts on bettering.
There are three sessions available Tuesday, August 5, 2014.
