As we celebrate the 450th year of Shakespeare’s birth, The Montford Park Players are teaming up with NC Stage to present this year’s Bard-a-thon, a Crop Walk style fundraiser that will raise money for both organizations.
This year’s Bard-a-thon is happening during the weekend of April 25th-April 27th, 2014.
The Bard-a-thon works because lots of people participate. Readers sign up to read for four hour time slots throughout the weekend, asking their friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor them. We offer first dibs on roles to people and teams who raise the most money. Of course, no fundraiser would be complete without prizes, food, and fun!
